The TVS Apache RR 310 has never been just another fully faired sport bike. From the moment we throw a leg over it, we can tell this machine is built with intent. It feels sharp, focused and ready to attack the next corner. But what really stands out in this update is how much smarter and more complete it feels. This isn’t just about speed. It’s about confidence, control and usable performance on real roads.
As Janak Sorap puts it, “TVS has once again managed to make this an even better machine and an even more formidable contender in the 300 cc performance segment.” After extended riding, that impression becomes clear. This motorcycle doesn’t just compete; it makes a strong case for leading the segment.

Expert Context
Janak Sorap brings more than ten years of hands-on riding experience to this TVS Apache RR 310 Expert review, along with over 300,000 kilometres tested across city streets, highways and mountain roads. When you’ve spent that much time in the saddle, you stop chasing numbers and start understanding behaviour — how a motorcycle feels when you brake hard, tip into a corner or open the throttle on an empty stretch.
We didn’t just ride it around the block. Our test loop covered Pune city traffic, flowed through University Road, Wakad and Hinjawadi, stretched its legs on the Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway, and then climbed through Pirangut to Lavasa before heading back. That mix covered tight city sections, fast highway runs and flowing twisties, allowing us to evaluate the motorcycle across varied conditions.
The TVS Apache RR 310 has come a long way since its debut in 2017. What began as a sharp entry-level supersport has evolved into a more mature and tech-rich machine. The latest updates focus on making the motorcycle more refined, feature-rich and versatile.
It continues with the 312.2 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 37.54 bhp. The power delivery feels cleaner and more refined. The biggest change in this TVS Apache RR 310 facelift is the addition of a race-tuned six-axis IMU, enabling cornering ABS and traction control. You also get multiple riding modes and cruise control, which add versatility for both city and highway use.

Michelin Road 5 tyres further improve grip and stability, especially when cornering hard. As Janak Sorap says, “The TVS Apache RR 310 continues to be an absolute track weapon.” And even today, that focused character remains intact.

Pros
- Most tech-packed in segment
- Advanced IMU safety support
- Sharp, track-ready handling
Cons
- Aggressive riding posture daily
- Engine heat in traffic
- Mild high-rpm vibrations
Verdict
The TVS Apache RR 310 is no longer just an entry-level supersport. It has evolved into a sharp, intelligently engineered performance machine. With 37.54 bhp from its refined 312.2 cc engine, a six-axis IMU, multiple riding modes and even cruise control, it packs serious tech for this segment.
What stands out most is how approachable it feels. You don’t need to be a track expert to enjoy it. The electronics work quietly in the background, giving you confidence when leaning into corners or braking hard. The Michelin tyres and well-sorted chassis make the bike feel planted and predictable.
As Janak Sorap says, “This has resulted in making the RR 310 a more capable and refined machine.” Under Rs 3 lakh, it delivers one of the sophisticated blends of performance, safety tech and value in its class.

- Top notch Design and4.0Arsenal Black(Petrol)The design of the 2024 Apache RR 310 is top-notch. The aggressive front fairing and dual LED headlights give it a race-inspired look. TVS has also packed it with high-end features like Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, and a color TFT display. I love the amount of detail TVS has put into this bike.By Laxman SahuPosted on: Oct 14, 2024 04:43 PM00
- Pricey for Beginners4.0Arsenal Black(Petrol)While packed with features, the bike's price might be a little steep for beginners looking to get their first sports bike. Limited Storage: Like most sports bikes, there’s little to no storage space, which can be inconvenient for daily commuters. Despite being a sports bike, the 2024 Apache RR 310 is surprisingly comfortable for daily commutes. The seating posture strikes a good balance between aggressive and relaxed. The ride modes are useful for adapting the bike to different conditions, and the suspension is tuned just right for Indian roads.By Pulkesh KaniPosted on: Oct 01, 2024 03:40 PM00
- It is good but could be better3.0Arsenal Black(Petrol)Limited Wind Protection: While the bike's aerodynamics are decent, the windscreen could be taller for better wind protection at high speeds. Seat Comfort Could Be Better: For long-distance rides, the seat could have been cushier for better comfort.By Mahesh PaulPosted on: Oct 01, 2024 12:06 PM00
- Apache RR 310 is a fantastic bike4.0Arsenal Black(Petrol)The engine performance is outstanding, offering a smooth yet powerful ride, especially on highways. The design is aggressive and sporty, turning heads wherever I go. The riding posture is comfortable even on long trips, and the suspension does a great job of absorbing road bumps, making the ride smooth even on uneven surfaces. The braking system is responsive, and the electronics like the ride modes and TFT display add to the overall riding experience. The bike also offers decent fuel efficiency for a sports bike, which is a bonus. The handling is precise, making it easy to navigate through traffic and sharp turns. Overall, the Apache RR 310 is a fantastic bike, combining style, performance, and advanced features into one perfect packageBy DasbabuPosted on: Sep 27, 2024 04:41 PM00
- Overheating Issues in Traffic and Limited Features for the Price2.0Arsenal Black(Petrol)I bought the Apache RR 310 for daily commuting, but I quickly realized it’s not the best for that. In heavy traffic, the bike tends to overheat, especially during summer. Even though it's a liquid-cooled engine, it struggles to manage heat in stop-and-go conditions. Another drawback is the bike’s weight, which makes maneuvering through traffic a bit tiring. Considering the premium price tag, I expected better heat management and overall performance.By JagdishPosted on: Sep 25, 2024 10:36 AM00
