Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton converted his pole position into a victory in the 2020 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix. The driver dominated the race right from the start and went to take his eighth win at the circuit, tying his record with that of Michael Schumacher for most wins at a single venue. Coming in second was Max Verstappen recovering from a crash while on his way to the grid earlier today, while Valtteri Bottas took the third place making it a 1-3 finish for the Mercedes team.

Petronas Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo bagged his first in MotoGP as he crossed the chequered flag in the 2020 season-opener Spanish GP. The latest season finally kick-started behind closed doors, and the first race was as scintillating as you would expect from the championship. Making heroic run in the race was Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez who suffered a nasty crash in the final stages. Yamaha's Maverick Vinales took the second spot on the podium after briefly leading the race making it 1-2 finish for the Yamaha M1, while Andrea Dovizioso of Ducati took the final spot.

All-Electric Ride Hailing Platform Blusmart Introduces New Services In Delhi NCR
One of the first all-electric ride hailing platforms in India, Blusmart has announced several new services for its customers. The company has introduced new digital wallet option for contactless payments, hourly rentals and referral services. The announcement comes at a time when users are shying away from mass public transit systems in the wake of the pandemic. Blusmart says its fleet of electric taxis are sanitised and hygienic, allowing for a hassle-free ride. The operator's services start from Rs. 99 to travel in Gurugram and to the IGI airport in Delhi. BluSmart currently operates in Delhi-NCR and the platform says it has over 10,000 active users. It claims have saved over 325 tonnes of CO2 emissions by running all electric cars in Delhi NCR in one year.

F1: Hamilton Pips Bottas To Start On Pole In Hungarian GP; Perez To Start At P3
The Mercedes-AMG F1 team will have a front-row start in the 2020 Hungarian Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas secured the top positions during qualifying. Hamilton carried over his form from the last weekend securing his career's 90th pole position with a lap time of 1m13.443s in Q3, 0.107s clear of his teammate. Starting in the second row though will be the surprising pair of Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez from Racing Point, 0.930s off Hamilton's time. Behind the four Mercedes engined cars came Scuderia Ferrari with a fifth place for Sebastian Vettel followed by Charles Leclerc in sixth place. This has been the team's best qualifying result so far this season.

New Maruti Suzuki XL5 Test Mule Spotted In Delhi-NCR
Maruti Suzuki has been readying a more premium version of the WagonR for a while now. The upcoming hatchback will be sold exclusively via Nexa outlets and is likely to be positioned as the entry-level offering from the premium dealerships. Rumoured to be called the Maruti Suzuki XL5, the new premium version was recently spotted testing wearing heavy camouflage on the streets of Delhi-NCR. The new hatchback is likely to be positioned in the same way as the WagonR Stingray in the WagonR family, albeit with better styling and a more feature-loaded cabin. Maruti Suzuki has already used a similar strategy with the Ertiga and the XL6.

MotoGP: Pol Espargaro Replaces Alex Marquez At Honda For 2021, Marquez Jr Moves To LCR
Pol Espargaro has been signed on to join Marc Marquez at the Repsol Honda MotoGP team, Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) has confirmed. The Spanish rider has signed a two-year deal with the factory team and makes his switch from KTM. Espargaro replaces Alex Marquez at Honda who was previously signed on but has now been moved to the LCR Honda satellite team for next year through 2022. Alex though will go on to make his premier-class debut with Honda this weekend. KTM had announced Espargaro's exit at the end of this season last month, fuelling speculations that the rider was heading for Honda.

Mahindra Two-Wheelers has released a teaser image of the upcoming BS6 compliant version of the Mojo 300. The updated motorcycle will finally meet the new emission regulations allowing the company to begin sales once again. The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS was pulled off the shelves in April this year after the industry's transition to the new norms. The teaser image reveals little about the changes on the motorcycle barring the BS6 badge on the extended tank shroud and the 300 ABS stickering on the side panel. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton dominated the 2020 Styrian GP starting the race from pole position. The race concluded with a 1-2 finish for Mercedes as Valtteri Bottas finished second, while the front row starting Max Verstappen of Red Bull took the final spot on the podium. The Styrian GP started with a disaster for Scuderia Ferrari as drivers Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel crashed on the opening lap after making contact with each other. Formula 1 has announced two new race tracks that have been added to the revised 2020 calendar. The premier-class event will be heading to the Mugello Circuit in Italy for the very first time along with the Sochi Circuit in Russia. The former though is a big deal as it will also host Scuderia Ferrari's 1000th race in F1. Mugello is owned by Ferrari, which makes the race all the more special for the Italian factory team's fans. The Tuscan GP - as it will be called - will be held between September 11-13, 2020, a week after the Italian GP in Monza. The 2020 Russian GP will take place on the originally scheduled dates - September 25-27.
