The performance, while not exhilarating, is very good and there is no doubting the touring ability of these motorcycles. Also, there is decent amount of kit and switchable ABS on offer as well. More than anything else, it is the road presence which will catch the eye of a potential buyer. Yes, it has its share of flaws (we would have liked more power OR less weight) but pricing is sweet and it has the potential to do well for Benelli in India.

Despite the minor vibes, the engine never loses its smoothness, nor does it feel like it will fall apart, even after sustained triple digit speed riding. And that is what makes the Imperiale 400 feel noticeably different. It's not a performance bike by a long shot, but a retro classic, meant for easy, relaxed riding.
