I own Honda Amaze 2018 diesel v variant. (Just below the full option) Odometer : 30,000 This review is done after checking a few other amaze with different odometer readings. And other cars. Cons: * Highly tight steering, which is worse than non power steering cars. * Poor suspension, the suspension is so soft that the moment somone enters the car the ground clearance reduces to almost 50%, and the more passengers it carry the worse. * Because of the above point, a small speed bump is going to scratch your cars underbody. This car is clearly not made.for indian roads. *The steering adjustment is a gimmick as when you adjust the tilt, already tight steering becomes more tight. * Steering music controls and cruise switches looks like cheap plastic makes noises when u click. *AC control switches are of poor quality, and the nobe gets loose easily. *The interior doesn't look that good, compared to other competitions in this price range. (Check Toyota glanza / suzuki baleno interiors) * Three average sized people cannot sit comfortably in the rear seats. No matter what they claim. So which makes this car a 4 seater, including the driver. * Too much vibrations, its easy to name the places where it doesnt make vibrations and noises. *Once you go past 100-120kmph it feels like a roller coaster with extreme vibrations and noises. *The meter shows 180, but speed is maxed at 140, and driving that top speed is a nightmare with all these vibrations and noises. * Stiff clutch * Thigh support in seat is poor. * Break disk is soo thin that if a small dirt gets stuck in the break pad will scratch the disk and will cause heavy vibrations when u apply break, and because of the thin disk polishing is not an option, you have to replace it and it doesnt come under warranty. * Closing the door without completely raising the glass makes a huge noise of the glass hitting the door. * Thick mirror, which makes open and closed state looks similar. The center part of the car with gear, and charger gets loose, no matter how many Times you tighten it. * No color options in interior..it only comes in beige, which gets dirty easily, and you will be forced to put seat covers. * The spare tyre is of different size. * Honda service is mostly poor, you would have to be extremely lucky to find a good service center. *The AC is like a dust magnet. And it doesn't come with a duat filter, which we have to buy extra. And even after adding the filter the dust problem won't reduce much. Pros: (not going to explain, as almost all the ad highlight these) * Good mileage. * Good acceleration * AC is good * Big boot space * Wide leg room * Good sound systems, even with the base variant. * Even the base variant comes with basic good features.

Heavy over billing when you go for service. Not worth it. Unnecessary AC. Miyapur, Hyderabad Honda. Avoid.

Petrol has low 3rd gear acceleration... decent mileage.... excellent in city and on Highways... Excellent space ... mind-blowing boot space... decent performance....

All the poor reviews out there are about the older models. Now the overall performance, drivability, comfort and efficiency have improved and is in a better condition. The 2020 honda amaze is smooth and literally, no noise can be felt in the cabin space. The car I am talking about is the Honda amaze VX-iTec Petrol Manual. It is one of the best family cars too. Accommodating 5 people in this car is not at all an issue. In Chennai The service is also good, the showrooms are responsive if we face any issue. The safety rating is 4/5 stars in global NCAP test. Better than the Maruti Suzuki brand cars. All Japanese cars to built to last long. what else one needs!

I own the SMT IDTEC 2018 Version of diesel Honda amaze 2018 model. Pro s Compact sedan with it's premium feel Looks like a mini city Bonnet looks majestic Awesome space Premium seat comfort Big boot 4 star adult safety sedan Light steering wheel Powerful and torqey engine Crisp gear box Soft suspension Good AC blow No reverse gear vibration as commented by others Wide orvms Cons Poor quality glove box Window glasses on and off vibration corrected anyhow Issues with door hinge rubber replaced once Minimal dashboard vibration while driving on uneven roads Light throw not sufficient changed bulb of higher brightness with same watts Headlight motor failure at 40k km replaced on warranty Rear head rest could have been adjustable Headroom could have been better Verdict Amaze better than dzire in terms of safety, engine performance, build quality and space Amaze better than Ford aspire in terms of space, wider orvms, good driver seat view. Amaze definitely better than rigor and xcent interns of performance If u wanna go for a powerful diesel compact sedan Amaze is a better option

Btr than dezire Amazing best car

Seeing the review of the car and brand image of Honda, I bought new Honda Amaze 2018 on 20th June and since then it has been very painful and frustrating experience. I immediately noticed following major issues while driving the new Amaze for 1 week. The car has pick up and acceleration issue and loses all power when I take my car to main road from subways and also when I try to accelerate on overtakes at 2 or 3 gear. It loses its power to an extent that sometimes it stops. The car vibrates a lot while reversing. There is noise coming probably from front shockers when car goes into a little deep jerking or on speed breakers. Also the Honda signature lights can't use as DRL. Only I can use it as parking light only. What the point of calling it as signature light. Each moment of driving the new Amaze is now filled with disappointment and frustration, and I have started regretting my decision to buy Amaze

As a whole the Indian car community is driven by three major factors, mileage, cost and re-sale value, and the new Honda Amaze is quiet a grasp in all three. With mileage of 16 kmpl inter-city its economical and cost starting just from 6 lakhs its cheap too. But where it lacks is in everything else. The drive is too hard, the tires are too narrow and small, if you are travelling alone in an empty car at nice speeds it'll change lanes if hit a bump, its lighter than a zippo lighter. Interior of the car is another step back, with fabric seats, plastic dashborad and an upright stearing its nothing you haven't seen. The seats won't even slide all the way back because the travel space underneath is the least in any car i have ever driven. But its a Honda so it'll probably drone on for 10 years without a fault and thats the only thing making it sell in India.

First of all I am really satisfied with the new design of Honda Amaze. But power wise its too poor, really looses power while trying to accelerate, then there is the issue of low mileage, it has been 5000 km now and avrage milage I get in the city is around 11 to 12 km per litre.

When I am searching to buy a right car to my family members, I have through the honda company was oldest company good engine performance will be provided,with low cost of matiance of vechicle ,and more specificions will be provided with good safety conditions also .that is the secrect of buy honda amaze

I have purchased it on 30/06/2019 from ring road Honda though I was already decided to purchase maruti desire just want to check this option but after seeing the car grip on road and sturdy look change my decision on the spot. I am happy with my decision.

i took car in jan 2018 and poor performance

I have been using Honda Amaze since almost two years now. I still regret the day I made up my mind and booked Honda Amaze. Since very first month, Amaze started amazing me with kind of issues and rounds of service center. In marely six months clutch plate went kaput. Disc brake pads were giving issues and I had to replace Disc twice in a year. Spare parts are expensive. One would thing that the quality would be better when I m paying premium for spare parts but thats not the case. The quality is similar or below par as compared to other cars in the segment. Think.. Read reviews online and then think of booking such a failed product from HONDA. Thanks

This car has a rigid suspension does feel comfort while driving and rear passengers doe not like its bumpy suspension at all i purchased it my family does not like it no one like to sit in this car because of suspension very bad bumpy suspension toyota have better suspension

Do not buy Honda amaze. I have recently bought Honda amaze S mode. 7000kms done. I am bored of this car now. very law quality material used in this car. doors and windows glass are very light and make feelings like very cheap. Dust also come inside from the door. Pick is very less while driving because of no pick up it makes tired. Color coating is very bad. easily small thing touch and make scratch but in other car it dont make scratch that easy. in 2 month I got bored of Honda amaze. only design of this car is good. rest is waste of money. Better go for other car. I wasted money but you compare and think twice before buying.

We bought a new Honda amaze VX petrol (engine no. L12B44010400) on 10th July 2018 from pink city motors Jaipur, Rajasthan, during the 1st week only realize that car having a big manufacturing defact which causeing heavy vibration during back gear and even some time during car pickup. When complained to service center (pink city motors pvt.ltd) they suggested, it will be checked rectify during 1st service, we sent car for service (meter reading was just 200 km run only), they kept it for 3 days, and the out come was nothing, as per them they tested and did some gear box rectification but outcome was nothing. At the last they said this much vibration comes in all new amaze car. I am very disappointed with such kind of crap peace of car, not expected from HONDA brand. I want it to be raised this issue on high level and want solution. So requesting to please look into this issue very seriously

Old Honda amaze is not a show much good but the all new Honda amaze is nice one and only it is looking soo much nice

I bought new Honda Amaze 2019 on 28th, vehicle chasis no:MAKDF658EK4100358. June from the metro Honda bowenpally, hyderabad, and since then it has been very painful and frustrating experience. My height is 5.11inches front seat comfortability is very bad so tight and coming knee pain and roof hieght is very short my head is touching roof I am facing problems and also when is going to inside driving side leg space is very low seating position is very uncomfortable. I immediately noticed following major issues while driving the new Amaze for 1 week.
