Subcompact SUV War! Hyundai Venue vs Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza vs Mahindra XUV300Siddharth Vinayak Patankar | Jun 4, 20191 min readWe pit the newest subcompact SUV in the market, Hyundai Venue, against it two key rivals in the market, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Mahindra XUV300.
Hyundai Venue ReviewSiddharth Vinayak Patankar | May 31, 20191 min readThe Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV has already garnered over 20,000 bookings and the juggernaut looks set to roll on. The reason for the popularity says Hyundai is the segment itself - which already accounts for 47 per cent of all SUV sales, and is set to go past 50 per cent in a year or two.
Exclusive: Hyundai Venue First Drive ReviewJens Meiners and Siddharth Vinayak Patankar | Apr 24, 20191 min readWe recently had the chance to get behind the wheel of a pre-production model at a press event held in Korea at Hyundai Motor's Namyang R&D facility. The car is really compact, and yet - just as we have seen on its debut stage - even in real world conditions its proportions scream SUV.

- Average car in this budget3.0S (O) 1.2 Petrol MT(Petrol)Venue ka suspension kaafi smooth hai, but thoda stiff lagta hai over potholes. City mein toh ride comfortable hai, lekin rough roads pe thoda jhatke lagte hain. Hyundai Venue offers solid engine performance and impressive fuel efficiency, making it a good choice for city driving. The ground clearance is sufficient for most roads, though the suspension could be smoother on bumps. It’s stylish, but boot space feels limited for bigger luggageBy Nana RaiPosted on: Oct 04, 2024 12:20 PM00
- Good car for city3.0S 1.2 Petrol(Petrol)Venue mein safety features aur technology toh acchi hai, lekin rear seat AC vents thoda weak lagte hain. Garmiyon mein long drives pe comfort thoda compromise hota hai. Hyundai Venue chalane mein kaafi easy hai, lekin steering thoda light feel hota hai high speeds pe. City driving ke liye best hai, but highway pe confidence thoda kam ho jata hai.By Bahwa BalwaPosted on: Sep 25, 2024 03:07 PM00
- Good cars in for ground level people4.0S Plus 1.5 Diesel MT(Diesel)Venue ke features aur technology se toh main impress ho gaya. Touchscreen, connectivity options sab kuch top class hai is price range mein.Hyundai Venue mein ground clearance kaafi accha hai, toh thodi bahut off-roading bhi asaani se ho jaati hai. Plus, gaadi ka AC bahut effective hai.By Vinod JhaPosted on: Sep 20, 2024 01:24 PM00
- Design and Styling are impressive3.0E 1.2 Petrol(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportThe Venue's design and styling are impressive, but the engine performance feels a bit lacking on the highway. It's perfect for city rides, but for long drives, it could use a bit more power. Venue ka look aur features dono hi accha hai, but rear seat space thoda tight lagta hai. City driving ke liye perfect hai, lekin agar aapka family thoda bada hai toh comfort compromise ho sakta hai.By Jay PatelPosted on: Aug 30, 2024 11:43 AM00
- Jabardast Space in compact segment4.0SX 1.5 Diesel MT(Diesel)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportHyundai Venue ekdum mast SUV hai! Compact size hone ke bawajood, andar se kaafi spacious hai. Mileage bhi zabardast hai, aur city driving ke liye perfect hai.By Ritesh JoshiPosted on: Aug 26, 2024 03:56 PM00
- Good Driving Experiance4.0SX 1.5 Diesel MT(Diesel)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportVenue ka driving experience overall accha hai, but engine noise high speeds pe thoda zyada hota hai. City use ke liye toh perfect hai, lekin highway ke liye thoda aur refinement ki zaroorat hai.By Salim ShaikhPosted on: Aug 14, 2024 05:08 PM00

- Sub Compact SUV King5.0SX 1.0 Petrol(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportThe hyundai venue excells in all the aspects a perfect family car would be, it drives well performs great and the value for money propositions, it is equally well bulit too pls don consider the biased insta memers verdict, the only draw back is its back seat space which is adequate and not a benchmark.By DevcharanPosted on: Jun 16, 2021 05:16 PM11
- Great Baby SuV from Hyundai5.0SX 1.0 Petrol(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportI was planning to buy XUV 300 only for its sheer build quality and its looks but dropped my plan due to the many bad impressions by the people who owns the xuv 300, so hence ended up buying the venue so far i have driven around 8500kms from my 9 months old car, the car drives well and feel well build and drives great with zero fatigue to the occupants over long journeys, actually its a premium car with all the required bells and whistles. Thats y it is the car of the year 2020. The only drawback of this car in my opinion is its price.By DHINESHKUMARPosted on: Jun 16, 2021 05:10 PM1114

- Superb compact SUV4.0SX 1.5 Diesel(Diesel)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportI am using SX diesel since 8 to 9 months, my car is giving mileage of 24 kmpl on highway. Long ride is comfortable. For city ride AT version is preferable. I think SX should also have 4 airbags. - BEWARE OF THE DCT OVERHEATING2.0S 1.0 Petrol AT BS IV(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales Support1.Have purchased the hyundai venue 1.0 turbo petrol automatic in july 2019 2.In bumper to bumper traffic, the dct transmission overheats rapidly in 20-30 mins;you will need to stop the car for a period of time 3.The only solution presented by hyundai and modi hyundai is to switch between Neutral and Drive Mode when you stop the car either on signals or anywhere. Thus defeating the purpose of purchasing an automatic car 4. Press the brakes completely and not midway 5. During the pre sales and sales cycle; the sales folks did not inform that the car would overheat !! 6. If you have traffic in your area; do not buy the DCT version!!! the above issues are also mentioned in the car manual (which you get post buying the car) 7. There is a lag below 2000 RPMand you go to live with it. 8. On a clean road on the highway, this car functions v well; there is no over heatingBy Kunal ChoksiPosted on: Jan 29, 2020 12:15 PM160

- Best buy in the price range ????????5.0S 1.0 Petrol AT BS IV(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportBest in the segment with lot of features and great riding ,seating comfort worth it.Highly recommend for the familyBy ReubenPosted on: Jan 05, 2020 11:38 AM20
- Venue SX diesel4.0SX 1.4 Diesel BS IV(Diesel)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportI have venue SX diesel ,saying frankly about this car it's a really good choice for the family ????. Looking on the performance it's very pleasing ,seating comfort and riding comfort is very good, rear seat had a great thigh support which makes more comfortable for the rear seat people, may be the shoulder space is bit struggling for those 6 feet three people sitting backside. Also rear vent AC makes congested and difficult for people to move towards left or right .In my opinion rear vent AC should provide in doors making maximum utilization of rear space that I feel disappointed.Talking about mileage, in city I almost get 16-18 and for long trips with less traffic I am getting super mileage figures ie almost 19-22.5 even some instace I got 23kmpl .The most important thing to say about the diesel engine is it's refinement and smoothness like a typical petrol car .There is a initial turbo lag on low rpm' s which is most common on diesel engines .Feature wise it offers cruise control, sunroof, automatic headlamp and AC,cooled glove box, good bass Rich crisp sound quality speakers, great simple but attractive interiors, apple car play and Android auto connectivity, voice recognition steering mounted buttons, premium look and very good insulated cabin which doesn't allow any sound to hear inside the vehicle ie NVH levels are maintained very well inside the cabin. I also went for Kia seltos, creta, ecosport etc but what makes me to buy this one is that even I had to spend almost 17 lacs for the top models for seltos where we get almost every features ,if I brought any of above cars at the venue price range I only get base functions and features which even after spending 11 lakhs or 12 lakhs is really disappointing may be we get more space, more powerful engine and that SUV feeling also.Mileage was most important considering factor for me.Even the above mentioned cars petrol models just offering 10-15 kmpl and diesel almost 16 -18 kmpl ARAI claimed mileage which we get lower than that. I will give 4.2 out of 5 in the compact SUV segment .Also the rivals like ecosport, brezza, nexon all are doing good in their respective features and price range.By Mebin MathewPosted on: Jan 05, 2020 11:29 AM82
- Agressive on the outside but not impressive on the inside in space3.0New VenuePerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportI took a test drive today. Power of the car is pleasing and definitely a quality material but... Concern raises when it comes to comfortable seating position. Especially in rear for 3 passengers. India is a family bound nation and space is a real matter of fact next to mileage. That's where Venue scores low! I'm moving onto i20 which is best in class in every aspect.By Karthik JPosted on: Jan 03, 2020 06:01 AM186105

- It's a value for money car, Recommended ????5.0SX 1.4 Diesel BS IV(Diesel)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportI think Venue is the best option available in sub SUV segment. I am getting a mileage of 18 kmpl in city. Ride comfort is good. It is better to opt for Venue rather than buying lower end Creta. Venue has the same engine of creta. I am enjoying this car and Recommend it for others also.By Bimal Chandra NairPosted on: Jan 02, 2020 02:52 PM84

- Hyundai Venue not up to the mark3.0S 1.2 Petrol BS IV(Petrol)PerformanceMileageComfortCost of OwnershipValue for MoneySafetyStylingSales SupportVenue is overpriced for its size and features. 1.2 petrol is laggy and I doubt it can climb hill or ramp from underground parking. 1.0 turbo is pricy. Suspension is still which means it's risk of body roll. Price should be about 1 lakh less. Try xuv 300 it's sturdy and bold. I don't own xuv300 by the way.By BalaPosted on: Jan 02, 2020 06:17 AM54
