AGENCY GAVE OLD STOCK CAR. manufacturing date was 7 months old, noticed only after registration. battery weak already, replaced in first year. engine fine giving 14.5 and ac also ok, but i feel cheated by the dealership. they also charged extra for mud flaps. dont buy without checking vin plate first. even after mailing kia customer care, only one call came and then nothing happened.

Matte grey colour sabse alag dikhta hai, log ruk ke dekhte hain! Diesel AT bhi smooth.

Pehli car li hai, budget mein sab kuch mil gaya. Sunroof, achha AC, aur 15.9 ka mileage petrol mein. Ghar wale bahut khush hain aur EMI bhi aaram se chal rahi hai. Gear shift halka hai to seekhne mein dikkat nahi hui. Bas horn awaaz thodi patli hai. Agle saal accessories mein seat cover aur dashcam lagwane ka plan hai, baaki sab set hai.

Teesri service pe 9500 ka bill thama diya, brake pad aur coolant sab badal diya bina pooche. Engine 1.2 theek hai, 14.8 milta hai. Baaki gaadi theek hai par service centre ka bharosa nahi.

Pune ke traffic mein bhi DCT ab tak bina problem ke chal raha hai, ek baar bhi garam nahi hua.

for 4 people its good, rear for 2 adults ok. 1.2 petrol not fast but enough in city, 15.4 average. on highway it needs downshift for overtake. infotainment and speaker sound decent. service cost reasonable till now, around 4000 per visit. madurai heat is too much but ac handles it. overall happy with the compact size since parking near temple street is always tough.

Pickup achha hai, average bhi 17 ke aas paas. Par paanch logon ki family ke liye jagah kam pad jaati hai.

North Karnataka ki garmi mein ventilated seats ne life bana di. 7 mahine se Hubli-Dharwad run kar raha hoon diesel AT mein, gearbox bahut smooth hai aur cruise pe engine quiet. Average 16 mixed. Android Auto jaldi connect hota hai. Bhai ki shaadi ki shopping sab dikki mein aa gayi, jagah bach bhi gayi. Peeche thoda tight hai but hum 3 log ke liye fine.

for 10 lakh on road the 1.2 petrol is big letdown. no power when loaded, had to switch off AC to climb saputara ghat. milage 13, my old swift was giving more. back seat cramped and lower dashboard plastic looks cheap. looks great from outside thats it. should have taken diesel or bigger car

Gaadi mein koi problem nahi, diesel manual highway pe 18-19 de deti hai aur pickup strong hai. Seats aur AC bhi theek. Lekin Almora se nearest Kia workshop 3 ghante door hai, har service matlab poora din kharab. Parts bhi late aate hain. Small town mein ho to pehle ye socho.

Ventilated seats are a life saver in Delhi heat, I never thought I will use them this much. AC also cools very fast. I have the diesel automatic and the gearbox is very smooth in traffic, no jerks at all. getting 15-16 in Gurgaon and 20 on Jaipur highway. Boot is big, 2 suitcases and baby stroller goes easily. back seat is ok for 2 people, 3 is tight. Service was on time. very happy with my purchase

Shahar mein theek chalti hai par chaar log baithe ho aur AC chalu ho to flyover pe doosre gear mein daalna padta hai. Mileage shahar mein 13-14 aur bahar 17 tak. Dikki badi hai, hafte bhar ka saman aa jaata hai. Peeche lambe aadmi ko pair thode phasate hain. Kul mila ke paisa vasool.

Showroom mein bola tha 15+ easily milega. Reality - Kochi traffic mein 8-9 km/l, AC full pe aur bhi kam. Turbo DCT hai, open road pe fun hai no doubt, pickup mast hai. But crawling traffic mein gearbox jerky ho jata hai, 2 baar service centre gaya, they said "DCT mein normal hai sir". 5 ghante wait kiya ek simple software check ke liye, no pickup drop. Interior premium hai, ventilated seats achhe hain, but 14 lakh dene ke baad aisa after sales? Thoda nahi, bahut disappointing.

family of four, replaced our old i20 last year. automatic is so easy in Pune traffic and diesel has good power on ghat roads. Goa trip via Amboli with 2 suitcase 2 small bags all went in dikki. kids fine at back for 8 hours but seat little short for legs. ventilated seat i thought gimmick, now use daily. 19.5 on trip, 14-15 city. Bose sound too good. middle passenger at back has very less space. service at Baner smooth with pickup drop.

Chota package bada dhamaka literally! Turbo DCT 40 se 100 bahut clean kheenchta hai, highway pe overtaking effortless. Kolkata mein mileage 11-12 hi hai but pata tha. Andar leatherette seats, do bade screen, Bose aur 360 camera jo para ki tight lanes mein life saver hai. Ventilated seats, AC 5 min mein thanda. Sales wale bhaiya ne patience se sab samjhaya. Loving it.

DONT TRUST DEALER PDI. got the car with dent on rear bumper and tailgate gap uneven, they said will fix in first service. first service came nothing fixed. now dashboard is rattling on left side above 60. engine and gearbox no problem, milage 15 in city ok. but i paid 14 lakh for a car which is rattling and has dent from day 1. called customer care 4 times only ticket number they give. VERY POOR SUPPORT.

2 years, 34000 km on diesel manual, Thrissur-Kochi daily. engine - same smooth as day one, 6th gear 100 kmph at 2000 rpm. milage - lifetime 19.4, best tank 23.1, worst 15 in monsoon. comfort - front seats good for 9 hours. back seat weak, my 6 feet son knees touch front seat. boot - 2 big suitcase easily. service - avg 7000, brake pads at 28000. check back seat with tallest person before buying.

Kia sonet I have purchased from last 4 months

Been driving close to a month post purchase of HTX, the imt seems to be providing a mixed experience of automatic and a manual trans. The rear seat comfort comes at compromising the easier ride quality, the drive is real smooth and mileage will really be shocking as you maneuver in slow traffic ~6-7kmpl, but if you drive in the highway the actual mileage might be pretty satisfactory, I drove in a normal traffic without revving much, and I get close to 11-12kmpl, which is way less than their claim of 18kmpl. Sonet loses the 1 star just for that. Other than that the wait period (3 months) was a killer, but I would say it was worth the wait.

Poor suspension so not fit for India road, very after sales service, break problem

Kia Sonet addresses almost every requirement of a buyer in Sub compact SUV segment . Great looks, good engines and transmission, descent interior space, superb interior quality, largest boot in segment, good ride and handling, and many first in segment features...some reviews on social media has complained of cramped rear seats space but I haven't found any issues .My height is more than 5'10 and after adjusting driver's seat according to my height there is enough legroom space for rear passenger of even more than 6 feet. Shoulder room for three large adults may be a little tight but acceptable keeping in view of competition. And you won't drive with full five adults always, what really matters is largest bootspace of 392 litres which is useful in family shopping and luggage placing for long tours. High ground clearance of 205 mm is really helpful in broken and hilly terrain and steering response is confident. What I personally feel is that ride quality is not plush or absorbing like Tata nexon but comparable to the rest of segment. My requirement was a silent and powerful fuel efficient diesel engine with good features and Sonet HTX manual diesel fulfilled that with added strong drivability. I have purchased car 2 weeks back and driven it for 900 Kms and I'm very happy with my decision..I will keep posting further pros and cons as I drive it more and more...for fuel efficient concerns it's giving me 18.1 kmpl even I hardly shift to fifth gear due to road conditions..
