Audi RS6 Avant Performance: All You Need To Know

Audi brought in a RS6 Avant to India some time ago and now the company launched the RS6 Avant Performance. As the suffix on the car name suggests, this one is all about adding more power to the practical sport station wagon. The RS 6 Avant Performance weighs more than a ton but there are a lot of changes that make it quick and agile. Now the RS6 Avant costs Rs. 1.35 crore (ex-showroom India) while the RS6 Avant Performance is a bit more expensive than that, nearly Rs. 20 lakh more for the more powerful version.

Here's All You Need To Know about The RS6 Avant Performance

1. The exterior sees a lot of changes and the Audi RS6 Avant Performance gets a contrast coloured front splitter, door mirrors, rear diffuser and Quattro badging on the front grille.
2. The Performance version rides on larger 21-inch alloy wheels, while the RS sports exhaust has been added as well.

3. The RS6 Avant comes with an adaptive air suspension and also gets the cylinder deactivation function to minimise emissions and improve fuel economy.
4. The car gets a boost of 45 bhp and 50 Nm of torque over the standard model RS6 Avant
5. Power on the Audi RS6 Avant Performance comes from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 597 bhp, while torque output stands at 750 Nm and comes with an overboost function.

6. The Audi RS6 Avant Performance claims 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds, faster than 0.2 seconds compared to the standard model.

8. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph, but a Dynamic Package can extend the same to 305 kmph.
