Bentley Bentayga to Receive High-Performance Speed Model

- Bentley has already started working on the Speed model of the Bentayga
- Currently only the Continental GT and Mulsanne boast the Speed suffix
- The Bentayga Speed's output is likely to range between 625 and 650bhp
The regular Bentley Bentayga's 6.0-litre W12 engine develops 600 horses along with a maximum torque of 900Nm. Taking that and other 'Speed' models' performance figures into account, I presume the Bentayga Speed is likely to turn up with a power output ranging between 625 and 650bhp.
The standard Bentayga SUV is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can go from standstill to 100Km/h in just 4.1 seconds. With its top-speed rated at 301Km/h, it is both the world's most powerful and fastest SUV. At least for now. The SUV's Speed sibling however, with its expected power output, may be able to push past the 100Km/h mark in less than 4.1 seconds.
Bentley, which is suggested to have the capacity to produce 3,000 Bentaygas per year, has already sold out the first year of the SUV's production. And as far as the British SUV's performance in India is concerned, the company said it has already received 3-digit bookings for the car here.
And if you are wondering about the Bentley Bentayga Speed's estimated time of arrival in India, I'd say you will be waiting a while.
