Highlights

Caparo has announced the T1 Evolution is currently in development and already available on order. The T1 which originally came to light in 2006 and the development has been under the scanner since.

At the heart beats a 3.5-litre V8 engine which generates 575 bhp and 420 Nm torque, however more will be on offer says Caparo as the T1 Evolution will also come with stiffer suspension, ABS, ESP and a traction control system.

Caparo says the vehicle will be offered with parts finished in silver, gold and platinum and there will also be Virtual Engineer packages but details have not been released. Whether the T1 Evolution is a road legal car, like its predecessor, remains to be seen but considering the pains that Caparo is taking, it sure looks to be one. Performance figures are yet to be released and we will know more soon.
