A battery-powered Lincoln SUV, due in mid-2022, will be the first Ford Motor Co vehicle built on a custom electrified chassis that resembles a skateboard, which was developed by Ford-backed startup Rivian, according to several people familiar with the program.

The ZS EV's battery packs, at the end of their useful life, would be used in automotive applications and will be recycled instead of being sent to landfill sites.

The all-electric BMW i4 will be produced from 2021 onwards and subsequently launched on the global automotive markets. The new model will be manufactured at the company's main plant in Munich.

BMW Group is now looking into the possibility of launching an electric car under the Mini brand in India.

Elon Musk took to Twitter to share that Tesla has already received 146,000 orders for the Cybertruck so far and that too without any advertisement or paid endorsement.

At the Tesla Cybertruck unveiling here, Elon Musk asked the companys lead designer, Franz von Holzhausen, to demonstrate the strength of the "Armor Glass" by throwing a solid metal, baseball-sized ball at the window, but surprisingly the glass broke when a steel ball was overarmed into it.
