Highlights

Lewis Hamilton dominated the FP2 session of the Spanish Grand Prix as he beat team-mate Nico Rosberg by almost half a second in. Hamilton was the quickest in the first session and put in his best lap of 1:25.524 beating Rosberg by 0.449s.

Almost a second off Hamilton's pace and the third fastest was Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo. He was the sole Red Bull racer out there as Sebastian Vettel was forced to sit out the session. The defending world champion had a wiring loom issue which stopped him just 4 laps into the FP1 session. The problem proved too difficult to fix in time for further running.

Fernando Alonso was fourth fastest for Ferrari, setting a best time of 1:27.121, while team-mate Kimi Raikkonen steered half a second clear of the two McLarens by coming in 5th fastest. Felipe Massa, Pastor Maldonado and Daniil Kvyat rounded out the top ten.

The FP3 session today will be followed by the Qualifications and we will keep you updated so stay tuned!
