Fiat Avventura - 2015 CNB Viewers' Choice Award Nominee

A very spirited MD of Fiat India said at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, that the company will launch 4 new cars FY14-15. Out of these 4, 2 were going to be facelifts of the Linea and the Punto, the third was to be an out-and-out performance car, while the final one would actually be an all-new car; well, almost.
Christened as the Avventura, the car has been the inspiration for the new Punto Evo's face. The people at Fiat say that when the Avventura was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, there were a lot of people who loved the front-end design of the car and it was then that Fiat India decided to give the Punto Evo this new look.
So is it a compact SUV or a crossover? Well Fiat would like to think the former and this is because it's ground clearance is more or less similar to that of the Renault Duster and it has a muscular body. Fiat claims a mileage of 20.5 km/l for the diesel 1.3-litre Multijet and 14.4 km/l on the 1.4-litre FIRE petrol Avventura. It's then a mix of old and new and Fiat India has come out with a formidable product.
