Hero (March)es On!
India's leading two wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, reported 504,181 units sold in the month of February 2014 as compared to 501,271 units in the corresponding month last year. This was yet another successful month where the company posted sales over the five lakh mark.
Mr.Anil Dua senior VP (Marketing & Sales) commented "There has been an excise duty cut in the month of February and we have passed on the benefit to our customers. We are hopeful that this price cut will give a fillip to the industry and further boost demand of our products."
The company also revealed its March month plans by announcing that the newer versions of the Pleasure,Xtreme, Karizma and ZMR will roll out later this month. The company also started its operations in Turkey in partnership with Asya Makina and now have 50 outlets there.
