Lewis Hamilton was quickest in FP2 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and just 0.083s separated him from title rival and team mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton was at the top of his game in the FP1 session and he went fastest in the second session with a best time of 1:42.113s on the supersoft tyres.

Hamilton will be smirking with the result of the first Free Practice session of the last grand prix of the season as he topped the time charts by setting a time of 1:43 476s. It was for the 58th session that Hamilton has set the fastest time. However, the fight between the two Mercedes cars is far from over.
