Piaggio India has announced special festive offers on its Vespa and Aprilia range of two-wheelers. For this festive season, the company is offering benefits worth Rs. 10,000 on the entire range of 125 cc and 150 cc scooters, offered by the two brands.

Hosur-based TVS Motor Company has expanded its presence in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and announced its new distribution partnership with Al Yousuf MC; a subsidiary of Al Yousuf LLC. BMW Motorrad India has launched the BMW R 1250 R and the R 1250 RT in India. The R 1250 R is priced at Rs. 15.95 lakh while the R 1250 RT is priced at Rs. 22.5 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Bengaluru-based financial start-up OTO Capital has announced the launch of its monthly ownership plan for two-wheeler buyers. The company's OMI (Ownership Monthly Installment) plan is aimed to make owning a vehicle easier with flexible financing options that will be available directly at showrooms. OTO Capital is offering both leasing and long-term ownership options for customers, with the OMIs said to be 30 per cent cheaper than the EMIs (Easy Monthly Installments) taken from a bank for the same period for the same model. The start-up states that the flexible financing option allows customers to own a vehicle at a minimal upfront cost, and will help boost demand in the auto sector that has seen a downturn with limited lending capacity from banks and NBFCs.
