Morgan has taken the wraps off a Plus 8 Speedster limited edition which has been created specifically to celebrate 100 years of vehicle manufacturing at its Pickersleigh Road factory in the UK.
This limited-run model stays true to Morgan's roots and gets a classic style combined with modern technology. At the heart, beats a BMW-sourced 4.8-litre V8 that punches out 367bhp and 490 Nm. The engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a ZF six-speed automatic transmission.
With all that power and technology, the Morgan Plus 8 Speedster powers from 0-100kmk/h in 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 238km/h. The people at Morgan says limited production of this special Plus 8 will commence in June.
