Tata Nexon EV – Exterior

• The Nexon EV has a closed off fascia in place of a traditional mesh grille like in the ICE Nexon.
• A reason this appearance is due to the electric powertrain not needing the same volume of airflow as an ICE vehicle.

Tata Nexon EV – Powertrain

• A Permanent Magnet Synchronous AC Motor powers the Nexon EV.
• In MR (Medium Range) guise, the motor produces about 127bhp and 215Nm of torque.
• In LR (Long Range) versions, the power output rises to 143bhp and 215Nm of torque.
• The AC charging options include a 3.3kW or 7.2kW wall‑box charger.
• Charging the SUV takes around six hours and 30 minutes on the 7.2kW unit.
• A standard 15A home plug can also be used, though 10 per cent to 100 per cent might take over 15 hours.
• Upon using a 60kW DC fast charger, the Nexon EV can go from 10 per cent to 100 per cent in 60 minutes.
