The Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP Edition brings the Monster Energy and MotoGP inspired branding to the quarter-litre offering, at a premium of about Rs. 2,000 over the standard model.

Yamaha Motor Company has recently registered the name FZ-X to be trademarked in India. According to the filing, Yamaha Motor Company applied for the trademark on November 5, 2020.

First unveiled in February this year, the BS6 compliant Yamaha FZ 25 and the FZS 25 gets styling revisions, new colours, and new features to justify the price hike over the BS4 model.

India Yamaha Motor has issued a voluntary recall for 13,348 units of FZ 25 and Fazer 25 motorcycles. The Japanese two-wheeler maker says that this is a precautionary recall to address an issue related to the head cover bolt loosening in 12,620 units of FZ 25 and 728 units of Fazer 25 motorcycles.
