BYD Sealion 7 Specifications

Launched at an introductory price of Rs. 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Sealion 7 Dynamics variant will come with a new 71.8 kWh battery, offering a more modest range of 520 km.

The revision will happen across the company’s current model range, and the hike will be in the range of 1-2 per cent, depending on the model and variant.

BYD has increased the price of the Sealion 7 Premium by ₹50,000, effective January 1, 2026, taking it to ₹49.40 lakh; pricing for the Performance variant remains unchanged at ₹54.9 lakh, while existing bookings made before December 31, 2025, will retain the old price.

The company has not given a reason for the price hike, however, we suspect it’s in line with the auto industry’s trend of increasing prices at the start of a new year.
