Citroen C3X

The C3X will be the final made-for-India car under the C-Cubed program that saw the brand launch the C3 hatchback, e-C3 electric hatchback and the C3 Aircross SUV. Based on the same platform, the C3X will take the form of a high-riding sedan while sharing many of the styling bits from the rest of the C3 line-up. The fascia is set to share much with its siblings including the split headlamp design while the bumper shape, based on the test mules, looks to be similar to the C3 Aircross. Moving to the rear the sedan will feature a fastback-like roofline giving it a four-door coupe look while the tail-lamp design is also likely to be in line with the C3 family.

Inside, the cabin is set to be nearly identical to the rest of the C3 line-up replete with cubed styling elements in places such as the air-con vents, large central touchscreen and the digital instrument cluster. Citroen is also expected to introduce some much-needed features on the new C3X which could eventually be rolled out in the rest of the line-up. On the engine front, expect the familiar 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit from the C3 Aircross to also be offered here with both manual and automatic gearbox options expected to be offered.
