Verdict
The VinFast VF7 is clearly not trying to please everyone. It risks alienating traditional buyers with its hyper-minimalist cabin. Relying purely on a touchscreen for basic functions like air conditioning may also not be acceptable for some on a daily basis. However, if you embrace the tech-heavy approach, you’ll see this car as a highly practical piece of machinery. It looks like nothing else on the road; the cabin materials feel premium, and the interior space is ample. It hits the mark on the spot if you want a fast, striking electric SUV the most.
Girish sums up the VF7 like this,
“For a relatively unfamiliar brand in India, the price of the top variants seems a bit steep at first, especially given bigger, flashier and more established competition in the same space. But its premise of a no-nonsense yet comfortable car with a mystical Far East styling does stir up enough interest.”
