The Tekton will make its debut hot on the heels of the Gravite and will share its platform with the upcoming new Duster.

The launch of the new-generation SUV is set to take place a year and a half after it was first showcased in India in December 2022.

The recall has been issued due to a faulty front door handle sensor and affects the base XE and mid XL trims

The Nissan Magnite will enter a highly competitive segment when it arrives next year that has proven to be a volumes-driver for most automakers. Nissan Africa, Middle East and India today unveiled a comprehensive four-year strategy for the region under the company's Global Transformation Plan. The company's business plan aligns with the global direction of rationalization, prioritization and will focus to bring core models and technologies to a region that accounts for around 10 per cent of the world automotive market. Nissan plans to introduce 8 new models in the Africa, Middle East and India region, however, there is no specific information yet on how many models will be introduced in each region. The focus, however, will be on SUVs and affordable sedan models.

Nissan India will be launching a new larger full-sized SUV to take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour. Most likely it will be the all-new Nissan Terra which was showcased few months ago.

Nissan had been missing on the action in the full-sized SUV segment unlike a lot of its competition. However, the Japanese car maker has now revealed the new Terra SUV in China. The new Nissan Terra is the latest ladder-on-frame offering and competes with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Isuzu MU-X and the likes in the segment.
