Bajaj Pulsar 250 Eclipse Edition Teased; Launch Soon

- The Bajaj Pulsar 250 range is expected to get a black colour option
- The Pulsar N250 & F250 Eclipse edition will use the same mechanicals
- The black shade has had a special following in the Bajaj Pulsar family
Bajaj Auto has dropped the teaser of the new Pulsar 250 in the black shade on its social media platforms. Likely to be called the Eclipse Edition, we get treated to a glimpse of the upcoming new colour option that is likely to be available on the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250 motorcycles. Moreover, it is likely to extend to other motorcycles in the Pulsar family as well. At present, the Pulsar 250 line-up is offered in three colours - Caribbean Blue, Racing Red and Techno Grey. Adding the black shade not only makes the palette more wholesome but keeps the tradition alive as well.

The Bajaj Pulsar in the black shade has been particularly special for enthusiasts and the brand alike. Bajaj has woven multiple marketing campaigns around the colour option, which has helped garner a following of its own. Most notable is the bike maker's 'Fear the Black' that kickstarted the whole thing with the Pulsar 180 DTS-i back in the 2000s. The company also introduced the Pulsar RS200 in 'Demon Black' as part of the Fear the Black campaign in 2016. With the new Pulsar 250 Eclipse Edition, the Pulsar 250 is likely to get an all-black theme with a dash of silver here and there.

The Bajaj Pulsar is expected to get a new colour option but will carry the same mechanicals
There's no word on the launch yet but we can expect the Pulsar 250 Eclipse Edition to arrive in the new few days. The motorcycle is currently priced at Rs. 1.44 lakh for the N250 and Rs. 1.45 lakh for the F250. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. It's likely that the new black shade will command a marginal premium over the current options.

The Pulsar 250s compete against the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha FZ25 in the segment.
