Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is planning to introduce a new scooter in the country that will meet the upcoming BSIV emission norms and will also come equipped with auto headlamp on function as standard that essentially makes for an always-on headlight.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) will launch the Honda Africa Twin by mid-2017, senior HMSI officials have confirmed to carandbike.com. The adventure motorcycle from Honda was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in February 2016 and has generated a lot of interest among the motorcycle touring crowd in India. The Honda Africa Twin or Honda CRF1000L, as it's also called, will be brought to India as knocked down kits and assembled in India. Only one variant will be available for the Indian market.
Come April 2017 and all two-wheelers that will be sold in India have to be BS IV compliant and get the auto headlamp on (AHO) as a standard feature. Keeping that in mind, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched the 2017 model of the CB Shine which conforms to BS IV emission norms and also gets the auto headlamp feature as well.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Passion Pro i3S with an updated engine which now meets BS-IV emission regulations. Along with the BS-IV engine, the Passion Pro i3S also features the i3S system, the start-stop feature which switches off the engine when idling in neutral and starts automatically when the clutch is pulled in. The Hero Passion Pro i3S also comes with the automatic headlight on (AHO) feature, which will become mandatory for all new two wheelers later this year.
Harley-Davidson India is all set to celebrate five years of Harley Owners Group or H.O.G India chapter in India with more than 3,000 H.O.G. members gathering at the event. The celebrations will be held in Goa from 16th February till 18th February, 2017 and will include a long list of activities, performances and award distribution ceremonies. The H.O.G India chapter was formed in 2012 and has over 12,000 active members at present with 26 regional chapters.
