DC Design will be launching a new sub-brand DC2, offering custom kits for motorcycles. The DC2 range will offer high-end parts in glass, metal, carbon fibre and magnesium. The goal is to offer these custom parts individually or as a whole to add value and accessorise a motorcycle. The first product of the DC2 line-up is the Carbon Shot, using the iconic Royal Enfield Bullet as the base for this custom design.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has announced the export of its most successful motorcycle in India, the made in India Suzuki Gixxer to Japan. This is SMIPL's first India-built motorcycle that will be sold in Suzuki Motor Corporation's home market. According to a release from Suzuki Motorcycle India, the first consignment of made in India Gixxer motorcycles has already left India for Japan.
KTM India today launched the long-awaited 2017 KTM RC 390 and RC 200 Supersport bikes in the country. Priced at Rs. 2.25 lakh and Rs. 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively, this is the first major upgrade for the RC twins in India and the bikes now come with a new livery, bolder styling, and a host of new equipment.
Benelli is going from strength to strength, opening up showrooms across the country and establishing presence. The company recently inaugurated its second showroom in Chennai, at Anna Nagar. Both the existing showroom and the new one are owned by 'Power Super Bikes'. The new showroom is fully operational, with bookings and deliveries open. The showroom will also have service bays. It was designed by Andrea Rosso, Creative Director of Diesel Licenses and the Ducati Design Centre.
