Bookings For Ford Figo Aspire Begin

Bookings for the Ford Figo Aspire in India have been initiated at dealership levels as Ford gears up to launch its entrant for the rapidly expanding sub-compact sedan segment here. Interested folks can now book the Ford Figo Aspire for Rs. 50,000. That said, the official bookings for the car are yet to commence.

Ford will offer the Figo Aspire with 2 engine options, i.e. a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel and a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol. While the diesel unit is the same as the one that also powers the EcoSport and Fiesta, the 1.2-litre petrol unit is all-new. Ford's upcoming sub-compact sedan will also get a choice of 2 transmissions: - a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The automatic transmission, however, will be offered only with the 1.2-litre petrol model in the Titanium trim.
The Ford Figo Aspire's list of safety features will include 6 airbags (including airbags for the driver and front seat passenger, and side & curtain airbags), perimeter alarm, Hill Launch Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD).
Considering the fact that dealerships have already started taking bookings for the car, we are sure the Ford Figo Aspire's launch is just round the corner.
Expected Price: Rs. 4.8 lakh - Rs. 7.5 lakh
Expected Launch: July - August, 2015
