Carbon Footprint! How To Reduce It?

- There are major issues caused with alarming increase in carbon footprints
- It is important for us to find the root causes & how to curb them easily
- The factors are many that contribute to the increasing tendency of carbon
What do you understand about carbon footprint?
As various human activities in specific areas have triggered greenhouse gas generation, it is time to curb it. The carbon footprint comes in tonnes of CO2 that different individual activities come into the atmosphere. Therefore, the initiative is taken to reduce the amount of gas generated in the atmosphere.
From 2005-2013, there is a record that India has emitted carbon dioxide of 20.54 billion tonnes. The annual gas emission rates to almost 5.57%, which is per capita growth to the annual rate of 4.07%. During 2013, 2.8 gigatons of carbon dioxide were emitted, which was still less than China and the US. However, it has increased over the past years and has contributed to increased risks from greenhouse gas.

Relation of Indian auto industry and carbon footprint
Of the total amount of global warming, 15% of it is mainly contributed by machines. Other than cars, trucks, and ships including other vehicles, also contribute greatly. Cars are always one of the main sources of pollution, and when wondering its root cause, the use and manufacturing process of cars would clear your doubt better.
Whenever talking about and measuring the amount of carbon footprint by running cars and other vehicles in the industry, manufacturing the vehicles is overlooked. Surprisingly, the manufacturing procedure is no less to contribute to the increased carbon footprint in the environment.
Different car manufacturing companies claim that there is less emission of harmful gas due to the use of the latest technology method. It is lower than the older vehicles. However, one should not ignore the details of the manufacturing process of the vehicles.

How vehicle manufacturing greatly contributes to the increase of carbon footprint?
Manufacturing vehicles requires extensive use of resources, resulting in the emission of harmful gas. It includes mining of raw materials such as oil and ores, and this mining is also quite polluting. It is about extracting the ores, converting them to raw materials, and using it for parts of cars. However, it is the same process that is carried out when anyone requests a car part's replacement.
Therefore, without being aware of the contribution of manufacturing parts to environmental pollution, the car owners will ask for it. There is a need for increased awareness, and it should help one reduce this need and eventually lower the chance of greenhouse gas emissions in the environment.
How to lower the carbon footprint?
To curb the alarming rise of carbon footprint, initiatives are taken to rectify the problem and reduce the alarming level. The settlement has been done keeping in mind the pollution level, and it won't be done at the cost of harming the peace of people existing in the environment. It can repair effectively with innovative plans that can reduce the problems in the air resulting in different issues from greenhouse gas. Some of the benefits of reducing the alarming carbon footprint are listed in the following part.
- Firstly, there has been a huge impact on the bill, but repairing the old parts can rectify the problem, and it will reduce the bill
- When you repair a part of a machine, it does not require you to take the manufacturing process again. It is only rectification of its part and can be done affordably. Therefore, it is better to get it repaired at the earliest before the situation becomes worse. If the machines run in perfect shape, it can reduce the overall impact and effects caused by carbon footprint.
- Before going for the repair of a part, decide on what to do with its existing old part. Try to analyze your budget and then go for the replacement options. It should be worth spending for the repair even at the cost of the old parts which have become obsolete. It is important to consider when using old machines that can impact the emission of harmful gas in the environment.

The final part
The emission of carbon footprint is increasing day by day and to help reduce the level is to repair the machine as and when required. Therefore, reducing the level of carbon footprint should go hand-in-hand, and it should be for the better of citizens all around.
