Dodge Viper SRT GTS-R Revealed

We heard about the SRT brand becoming part of the Dodge family and that means that they will re-christen a few products. The company has renamed the SRT Viper GTS-R the Dodge Viper SRT GTS-R. From what we can see, apart from some external tweaks (which are marginal) there is no difference.

The cars have been equipped with a red and white livery with Dodge badging on the windshield and front quarter panels. SRT Motorsports CEO Ralph Gilles says, "We are honouring the racing history of the Dodge Viper by returning to its classic colors as we are in the midst of celebrating the Dodge brand's 100th anniversary and 100 years of American performance."

We will see the Dodge Viper back on the track on June 27th when the team fields two of them at the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen.
