Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro India Launch Date Confirmed

Ducati Motorcycle India will launch its flagship ADV, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro in India on July 9, 2019. It is basically a more hard-core version of the Multistrada 1260 and is fitted with focussed off-road kit as well.

It is confirmed! The Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro will be launched in India on July 9, 2019. Upon launch, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro will be the flagship Ducati ADV in India. The1260 Enduro will have the same 1,262 cc Testastretta DVT engine which pumps out 156 bhp and 127 Nm of peak torque. Like the standard 1260, the Multistrada 1260 Enduro will offer up to 85 per cent of torque available from as low as 3,500 rpm. The Enduro 1260 gets revised ergonomics such as a lowered seat and handlebar, making for a comfortable riding position.

While the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro offers mental performance, all the power is kept in check thanks to updated electronics which include ride-by-wire and riding modes. Plus, there is a bi-directional quickshifter on offer as well. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro gets an advanced electronics package. There is a new 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit which controls the ABS, cornering ABS and the cornering lamps. The wheelie control and the traction control have eight levels and can be completely turned off as well. Plus, the bike also gets vehicle hold control along with the Ducati skyhook suspension. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro also gets a 5-inch full colour TFT display and the optional Ducati multimedia system which can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

The new 1260 Enduro is lighter by 2 kg over the 1200 Enduro. It uses a recalibrated electronic semi-active Sachs suspension with 185 mm travel at the front and rear, while a 30 litre fuel tank makes for a range of 450 km. The motorcycle continues to ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels which are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tyres.
