FCA Realigns Dealership Strategy In India With Destination Stores
- FCA will retail all its brands under one roof across the country
- The FCA Group includes - Fiat, Jeep and Abarth in India
- The Destintion Stores are equipped with sales and service ability
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India, now plans to go cohesive with its network strategy in India. The company has now formed, what it calls, 'Destination Stores', where you can buy all cars from the FCA India portfolio under one roof. This means that the store will cater to from Fiat, Abarth and Jeep customers.
On the development, Mr. Kevin Flynn - President and Managing Director, FCA India said, "We intend to provide our customers with a sales and service experience as a cohesive process, one that will demonstrate our commitment that will make FCA's existing and future customer base feel very special indeed. Our premium Destination Stores set the benchmark and reflect our new strategy and intent."
FCA Destination Store Mumbai
FCA has added three more sales and service outlets to its existing distribution and after-sales service base. This includes Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Chennai. There'll be a store up and running in New Delhi soon.
Flynn added, "All of FCA's new Destination Stores are designed to offer a comprehensive brand experience. In addition to the care that customers will receive inside our showrooms and workshops, we have plans for outside, and will introduce Camp Jeep in India - our international property that will be an opportunity for customers to appreciate off-roading the Jeep way."
The company needs this growth now considering that the new India-made Jeep Compass SUV will be launched by mid-2017 and if priced right, will certainly see a lot of takers in India. The SUV market in India is booming and Jeep couldn't have thought of a more perfect time to launch its cars here. What it needs to get right is the price and we hope the Compass is a car that can help it make a grand comeback in the Indian market
