Jeep Compass, Meridian Trail Edition Launched: Prices Start At Rs 25.41 Lakh

Jeep has launched a new ‘Trail Edition’ for its Compass and Meridian SUVs in India. The special edition is based on the Longitude (O) and Limited (O) trim, respectively, and is offered with both manual (MT) and automatic (AT) transmission options. The Trail Edition primarily introduces cosmetic changes to both the exterior and interior, while the mechanical aspects of the vehicles remain unchanged.

The Compass Trail is priced at Rs 25.41 lakh for the manual transmission variant and Rs 27.41 lakh for the automatic transmission variant. Meanwhile, the Meridian Trail is available in three variants: the manual transmission is priced at Rs 31.27 lakh, the automatic transmission at Rs 35.27 lakh, and the 4X4 automatic transmission at Rs 37.27 lakh. (All prices ex-showroom). Compared to the standard Longitude (O) trim, the Trail Edition variants are priced Rs 48,000 to Rs 58,000 higher.
The Trail Edition for the Compass gets Trail Edition hood and side body decals, matte black grille accents, and Neutral Grey elements on grille rings, DLO and backlight moldings, roof rail inserts, ORVMs, Jeep and Compass badges, and red-accented lower fascia. It rides on Granite Metallic Satin Gloss 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and roof rails.

For this edition, the interior has been updated with black leatherette upholstery, featuring Ignite Red mid-bolster accents on the dashboard. Red contrast stitching is added to the steering wheel, gear boot, and seats. Moreover, it also gets Trail Edition-branded all-weather floor mats.
The Jeep Meridian Trail Edition includes a signature hood decal, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof. The exterior is finished with Neutral Grey accents on the grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rail inserts, rear fascia valence, badges, and claddings. Additional Piano Black elements are applied to the fog lamp surrounds, daylight opening (DLO), ORVMs, while red highlights on the front fascia aim to add contrast to the overall look.

For the interior, the Meridian Trail Edition comes with a black vinyl interior accented by ruby red highlights, camouflage-themed appliques, a Piano Black centre console, and matching speaker surrounds. Additional elements include skid plates, Trail-themed scuff plates, and blacked-out ORVMs.
Jeep India states that buyers of the Compass Trail Edition will receive a complimentary 3-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), a 5-year extended warranty, and a direct cash benefit of Rs 20,000. Similarly, the Meridian Trail Edition includes a complimentary 3-year AMC as part of the purchase price.
