The 2017 Ford EcoSport has finally gone on sale in India and the company now offers the SUV in five variants - Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium, and Titanium+. The variants are available in both petrol and diesel engine option and here's our detailed breakdown of the features list as per the variants.

The Ford Ecosport facelift has been launched in India. Introductory pricing on the 2017 Ford Ecosport Facelift has remained unchanged and is exactly the same as compared to the prices of the pre-facelift outgoing model that was originally launched in India in 2013. The new Ecosport comes with a range of updates that includes a new front end look with new headlamps, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights and a new grille. Other changes on the exterior include new 17-inch alloy wheels, new tail lamps and an updated rear bumper. The new Ecosport also features several important upgrades to the interior. This includes the new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment setup that comes with Ford's SYNC3, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Ecosport now also comes with a leather interior package on the top of the line model. So lets see how it compares with its chief competitors, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V and Mahindra TUV300 in terms of pricing.

The Ford Ecosport is available with two engine options. The diesel is a 1.5-litre unit that makes 99 bhp of peak power and 205 Nm of peak torque. The diesel only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox. Ford has ditched the much loved Ecoboost 1-litre engine.

The Skoda Karoq has received a five-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests held recently. The Karoq is the second SUV from Skoda to receive a five-star rating after the Kodiaq. In the global hierarchy, the Karoq will be positioned below the Kodiaq and will be coming to India sometime in 2018.

2017 Ford EcoSport facelift takes a major step forward in terms of styling, interior design, features and safety as well. The subcompact SUV comes with a lot of improvements and an all-new petrol engine along with a new automatic gearbox.

The 2017 Ford EcoSport is set to be launched on November 9 and we expect the updated model to be priced in the range of Rs. Rs. 7.2 lakh to 10.5 lakh. The car comes loaded with new features and improved styling and aggressive pricing will offer a major boost in initial sales numbers.

Visually, both the 2017 Mercedes AMG GLA 45 and AMG CLA 45 look pretty much identical to the previous model except for the new styling and paint scheme. Along with some minor cosmetic tweaks, now the cars come in a new stylish glossy black paint job with yellow highlights for the front and rear bumper, tyre walls, and in the case of AMG GLA 45 the rear spoiler as well.

The Renault Captur is available in four trim option - RXE, RXL, RXT and the top-of-the-line Platine. Renault has launched the SUV at an introductory price of Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 13.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
