Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India commenced their domestic operations just last week and today inaugurated the country's first Jeep Destination Store in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Jeep dealership is being operated by Concept Motorcar Pvt. Ltd., and is the first of the 10 outlets that the company plans to open in the country by the end of this year.

The carmaker will also launch the performance-spec Grand Cherokee SRT variant priced at Rs.1.12 Crore, which will be the Jeep's flagship model in India (all prices ex-showroom). The Fiat-owned carmaker has already started setting up showrooms in India and will officially commence operations with its first dealerships in Ahmadabad. While the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Unlimited will come only come with diesel engines, the Grand Cherokee SRT gets a petrol motor.

Audi had launched the A6 Matrix in India last year, but this time, the German car manufacturer has brought its famed Audi Matrix LED headlamps to the Audi A6 35 TFSI. The Audi A6 now also gets a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission and a new infotainment system along with a few other updates. It is the top-most trim of the Audi A6 in its petrol guise and is priced at Rs. 52.7 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Keeping with its commitment to introduce petrol versions of its models in India, Mercedes-Benz has launched the petrol variant of the GLE SUV in the country priced at Rs. 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
