New Fiat Punto Evo Launch - Live Coverage

12:06: And we have finally reached the venue, and Fiat India is doing the last minute preprations for the launch of the Punto Evo. Stay tuned.

12:30 Mr. Nagesh, MD - Fiat Chrysler is on stage to address the media and talk about Fiat's strategy post its seperation from Tata Motors.
12:35: Fiat Indi has made the spare parts affordable and available, says Fiat India.
12:37: Fiat Abarth 500 and Avventura crossover are coming before this calendar year, says Mr. Nagesh.
12:39: Fiat Punto Evo with best-in-class ground clearance and 16" alloy wheels can handle all the pot holes and uneven roads, says Fiat India.
12:40: Safety Features with the Punto Evo: Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD); Height adjustable front seat belts, Front airbags with early crash sensors. However, none of the aforementioned features come with the entry level trim.
12:45: Evelyn Sharma walks on to the stage as the all new Fiat Punto Evo is revealed.
12:50: The Fiat Punto Evo is available in seven colours: Glitterati Gold, Magnesio Grey, Exotica Red, Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black, Vocal White and Tuscan Wine.
12:55: The front fascia of the Punto Evo has taken its inspiration from the Avventura Crossover, soon to be launched Fiat Punto based crossover, that was unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi.
12:58: The hatchback now receives new blacked out headlamps, a rounded cornered rectangular shaped grille, a revised bumper along with trapezoidal fog-lamps with chrome-line housing.
12:59 And finally the pricing has been revealed. The company has launched the Punto Evo at Rs 4.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
