Next Generation BMW Z4 Teased; Will Be Unveiled Tomorrow

Highlights
- The BMW Z4 Concept will make its debut at Pebble Beach
- The Z4 is built on the sportscar chassis co-designed by BMW and Toyota
- Expect the production version to be revealed soon
As we've already told you, the new generation of the Z4 will be built on the sports car chassis co-designed by both BMW and Toyota. It will be a mechanical sibling to the upcoming Toyota Supra and we couldn't be more happier. The teaser image shows a lot, though it doesn't show the entire car. The Z4 Concept gets a unique design of the kidney grille and there are the double headlights which sit upwards compared to the current models, which makes us think if it is the beginning of a design language change at BMW.
What we also get to see are the vents in the front bumper which are quite large and this gives the Z4 Concept its aggressive looks. There are two creases running across the side of the car from the front to the rear and fenders too add a bit of muscle to the overall stance. What we know for sure is that the new Z4 will be a rear-wheel drive car, as standard. It will be lighter, a sharp handler and of course faster.
The next generation BMW Z4 will come with a range of four-cylinder and six-cylinder variants. While the specific engine details are yet to be announced, expect a 200-odd bhp engine under the hood with the M Performance version pushing out close to 330 bhp.
