Polaris Teases the Slingshot

Polaris has released the first teaser videos of their three-wheeled sports vehicle i.e. Slingshot, which is all set to make its debut on the 27th of this month. While the videos don't reveal much, the company says the model will deliver a heart-pounding and mind-blowing rush, a fact that folks who have taken a ride in it vouch for.

Polaris also says the Slingshot surfs the asphalt and that leads us to ask, is it a motorcycle or a sports car coupe? The videos show the passenger wearing gloves and it is very clear that the Slingshot comes sans any doors whatsoever, so it suggests that it leans more towards being a motorcycle.

It is a two-seater with two wheels on the front and one at the rear making it a Morgan three-wheeler kind of deal. The styling however is more on the lines of the KTM X-Bow and it will probably come equipped with a GM-sourced 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine that develops approximately 200bhp.
