Production-Ready Benelli 752S Revealed

- New 750 cc, parallel-twin, DOHC engine
- 75 bhp at 8500 rpm, 66 Nm at 6500 rpm
- Benellli will launch a series of new models in India in 2019
Benelli has revealed a new middleweight naked bike, the Benelli 752S, which will be unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan next week. The 752S will almost certainly make it to India when Benelli introduces several new models within the next year or so. The new 752S was shown as a concept at last year's EICMA show, and overall the design seems to be quite similar to the concept. At 227 kg kerb weight, the 752S is no lightweight though, with the 14-litre fuel tank fully filled up. As the name suggests, it's expected to be a 750 cc middleweight.

The Benelli 752S is powered by a new, DOHC, 750 cc, parallel-twin engine
The new Benelli 752 S will be powered by a 750 cc, DOHC, four-valve, parallel-twin engine that makes 75 bhp at 8500 rpm and 66 Nm at 6500 rpm, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. The Benelli 752 S gets a tubular steel trellis frame with a 50 mm Marzocchi upside down front fork, and with a 45 mm monoshock at the rear which is adjustable for spring preload. Braking is handled by a Brembo system, with a four-piston caliper gripping 320 mm double semi-floating discs at the front, a single piston caliper gripping a single 250 mm diameter rear disc.

The Benelli 752S will be launched in India in 2019
So far, there's no word on pricing, although internationally the new 752S is expected to be launched in Europe sometime in the summer of 2019, we don't expect the Benelli 752S to make it to India before the end of 2019. For now, Benelli will be focussing on setting up a manufacturing base in India, and is expected to launch as many as 10-12 products within the next year. One of them is expected to be the new 752S.
