In March 2024, Tata Motors sold 50,297 passenger vehicles, witnessing a year-on-year growth of 14 per cent compared to 44,225 units sold in March 2023.
Utility vehicle sales for Maruti Suzuki grew by 75 per cent to over 6.42 lakh units in financial year 2024, while the contribution of entry-level cars to overall sales such as the Alto and S-Presso dipped by 6 per cent.
