Fiat Avventura Launching on October 21, 2014

Fiat India has officially announced that the Avventura crossover will be launched on October 21, 2014. Based on the company's flagship hatchback, Punto, the Avventura will take on the likes of Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo upon its arrival.
The Avventura is expected to be launched with two engine options - a petrol and a diesel. The petrol version of the car features a 1.4-litre engine that is good for 89bhp and 115Nm of peak torque. Whereas, the diesel model will derive its power from the 1.3-litre multijet motor that also powers the Punto Evo. The diesel engine is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 92bhp and 208Nm of peak torque. Though, the Avventura is based on the Punto and shares most components and features, the company has increased its ride height and fitted 16" alloy wheels.

To be launched in three trims - Active, Dynamic and Emotion, the car will have several exciting features as standard offering. The base trim - Active - will have 16-inch alloys, rear-mounted spare wheel with cover and rear fog lamps along with other necessary features. The cabin gets dual-tone dashboard, tilt-adjustable steering, automatic door locking, front power windows, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, keyless entry, electric boot opening etc.
The mid-trim, Dynamic, will additionally get electrically-adjustable ORVMs in body colour, front fog-lamps, all four power windows, ABS with EBD, height adjustable driver seat. The cabin will get and audio system with Aux and USB compatibility.

In addition to the features offered with the Dynamic, the top-end trim - Emotion - will have dual airbags, rear AC vents, automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-mounted audio and telephone controls, rear wiper & washer, rear defogger and a few more.
