Mahindra Relaunches Scorpio Special Edition

In a bid to give a boost to its sales in gloomy market condition, Mahindra & Mahindra has relaunched the special edition of the Scorpio. The company had first launched it in October last year, when only 500 units of the vehicles were built. This time again, only 500 units of the special edition will be sold across the nation.

The special edition has been made available in pearl finish colour and has chrome plated alloy wheels and racy decals. Inside the cabin, it gets high gloss wood finish centre bezel and the rich tan and beige European leather. The steering wheel, gear knob and shift too are wrapped in leather. In addition, the car gets a roof mounted 9" DVD player.
What makes it a safe car to drive are the offered features like ABS (Anti lock braking system) airbags, EST (Extra Stability Technology) Suspension, Intellipark with sensors in the rear bumper for easier reverse parking, intelligent rain and light sensors etc.
Since, it's just a limited edition, the SUV has received no mechanical updates. It continues to derive its power from the 2.2-litre four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine that is capable of churning out 120bhp and 290Nm of torque.
