Hyundai India willlaunch the facelifted version of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson in the Indian market on July 14, 2020. The Tucson was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 in its newest avatar. The SUV was expected to be launched soon after, which got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. However, the launch of the new Tucson is set for next week, which will take place through a digital press conference. The new SUV has started reaching dealerships, as it has been captured on camera ahead of its launch.
Renault, the French auto manufacturer on Monday officially announced the Kwid has achieved a milestone of 3.5 lakh sales in India. Commemorating the achievement, the carmaker introduced new RXL 1.0-litre variants of the Kwid in the country. The new 1.0-litre RXL variant of the Kwid will be made available in MT and AMT versions. The new RXL variant is launched in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs. 4.16 lakh for the manual variant whereas the AMT version costs Rs. 4.48 lakh. (All prices ex-showroom). The Kwid AMT 1.0-litre will be the most accessible BS6 two-pedal offering in India.

MG Motor India is all set to launch the upcoming Hector Plus SUV in the country soon. The three-row version of the Hector SUV already has been listed on the official website ahead of the launch. The Japanese carmaker is expected to launch the new-generation Honda City in India this month. Ahead of its official launch, the next-gen Honda City has been spotted at a dealership stockyard. Going by the leaked images, some of the cars get decals on the sides suggesting that these models could be test drive units. Mumbai police on Sunday stated lockdown guidelines under 'Mission Begin Again' initiative urging the Mumbaikars to follow them strictly and act responsibly as a citizen for own safety and loved ones. As per the new guidelines, all the vehicles found plying beyond 2 km radius from the residence without a valid reason will be impounded. The police department addressed the Mumbaikars via Twitter asking them to strictly follow guidelines issued by the state government and ensure all the precautions are taken while moving out.

Petrol and diesel prices were hiked on Monday for the sixteenth straight day, seeing a hike of 33 paise per litre and 59 paise per litre respectively. The cumulative increase in the prices for the 16 days as petrol and diesel saw a hike of Rs. 9.21 a litre and Rs. 8.55 a litre respectively. The customers in Delhi will now have to pay Rs. 79.56 per litre instead of Rs. 79.23 for petrol. However, they will have to shed Rs. 78.85 a litre for diesel. The new prices were updated as per the notification of state oil marketing companies. Notably, the new prices are effective across the country and it varies from state to state in accordance with the local sales tax or value-added tax.
Petrol and diesel prices on Sunday, yet again, were revised as the two fuel products saw a hike of 35 paisa and 60 paisa respectively. With the new rates coming into effect earlier this morning, the diesel price has hit a new record high, taking the cumulative increase in rates to Rs. 8.88 per litre in just 15 days. Moreover, the cumulative price of petrol stood at Rs. 7.97 a litre. The petrol rates in Delhi were increased to Rs. 79.23 per litre from Rs 78.88, while the diesel prices were hiked to Rs 78.27 a litre from Rs 77.67, as per the price notification received from the state oil marketing companies.

Fuel prices in India yet again have been increased on Saturday, which is 14th day in a row to witness a hike in prices of petrol and diesel. The petrol prices have been hiked by Rs 0.51 per litre in Delhi whereas the diesel rates have hiked by Rs 0.61 per litre. With the new prices coming into effect, diesel price has hit a record high taking the cumulative rise in prices for two weeks to Rs 8.28 for petrol and Rs 7.62 for diesel respectively. The rates have been increased across the country and vary from state to state depending on the incidence of local sales tax or VAT.
