    Tata Motors has discreetly revised the prices for its four models - Tiago, Altroz, Nexon and Tigor in the Indian market. The company had launched the BS6 versions of the Tiago, Tigor & Nexon earlier this year during the launch event of the Altroz premium hatchback. Out of the four, the Tigor sedan is the only car that has received a price cut here while other three cars see a price hike across all the variants. The prices for all the four cars have been updated on the carmaker's official website. And, these price revisions are effective immediately.

    Mahindra & Mahindra, the homegrown auto major has silently updated the prices of the XUV300 subcompact SUV in India. With the revision coming into effect, prices for the petrol variants have been slashed while few diesel variants saw a price hike. The subcompact SUV was previously offered with a starting price of Rs. 8.3 lakh, but the SUV is now priced from Rs. 7.95 lakh (All Prices ex-showroom, Pune). The base variant - W4 petrol has been decreased by Rs. 35,000. However, the diesel counterpart saw a price hike of Rs. 1,000. The company has also revised the prices of the W6 trim wherein the petrol variant has witnessed a price of cut of Rs. 17,000 while the diesel version gets a hike of Rs. 20,000.

    Mahindra & Mahindra announced its sales results for July 2020 wherein the automaker's total volumes including domestic & exports stood at 25,678 units, witnessing a decline of 36 per cent as compared to 40,142 units sold during July 2019. As the carmaker is slowly recovering from the impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Mahindras total domestic sales stood at 24,211 units in July 2020 against 37,474 units sold in the corresponding month last year. While year-on-year sales volume dropped by 68 per cent, however, the automaker managed to record good sales compared to June 2020. Mahindra's sales for July saw a double-digit growth when compared to the 19,358 units that were sold in June this year.
