Kia Sonet is one of the highly awaited cars from the house of the South Korean auto manufacturer, which will be launched in the country later this month. Ahead of its official launch, the Kia Sonet SUV has started arriving at the dealerships as new images have surfaced online. The soon-to-be-launched SUV made its global debut in India on August 7, 2020. The carmaker started accepting pre-bookings for the SUV last month and it managed to receive an overwhelming response from the market with 6523 bookings on the first day of the bookings.

State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Sunday revised the petrol prices across all the metro cities, while the diesel prices were left untouched. The oil companies hiked petrol rates by 14 paise in the national capital, which now retails at Rs. 81.49 per litre. In Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, the petrol prices were hiked by 12-14 paise per litre as per the notifications from Indian Oil Corporation. In the capital city, the petrol price was hiked from Rs. 81.35 to Rs. 81.49 per litre, while the diesel is retailing at Rs. 73.56 per litre.

Toyota India on Saturday reported sixteen new cases of Covid-19 among its employees. The infected employees had last attended work on 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th & 12th August 2020. A total of 87 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported from Toyota's Bidadi plant in less than a week. The Japanese carmaker has quarantined these employees who are suspected to have had primary or secondary contact with the infected employees through appropriate contact tracing, which is in-line with government guidelines. The company will continue its operation at the plant assuring necessary safety measures taken at the facility.
Petrol prices across all the metro cities were hiked on Sunday by 14 paise after a gap of more than a month. However, the diesel prices remained untouched. As oil marketing companies (OMCs) hiked the petrol prices, the customers will have to pay Rs. 80.57 per litre of petrol in the national capital. Diesel prices remained at Rs. 73.56 per litre in Delhi. Since June 29, the petrol rates in Delhi remained stagnant at Rs. 80.43 per litre. In other metro cities like Chennai and Mumbai, petrol prices have been hiked by 12 paise respectively. Notably, the Kolkata city saw an increase in rates by 7 paise after a huge gap of 47 days.
