The Honda CB650R has a superb inline four-cylinder engine which is tractable and will hold low speeds in a high gear. At higher revs there's enough performance to keep you entertained, although the lack of features and electronics is a let down. With a steep price tag, the Honda CB650R though fails to make for a convincing case.

It is a good option for young riders and people who are returning to riding after a gap. The performance is par for the course when riding in the city but highway runs could be a little uncomfortable. Should you buy one? If you are looking for good performance, extraordinary looks within ₹ 3 lakh then yes, definitely!
