The Dio lacks features and has an average build quality. But it makes up in the styling department, with fancy colours, cool graphics and sporty performance. The Dio could be the ideal scooter for college-goers and young professionals. The ownership cost is very close to that of the Honda Activa.

Li-ions Elektric Spock is the first product from Gurugram-based electric scooter start-up Li-ions Elektric. It comes with two 72V 20Ah lithium-ion battery packs offering a claimed range of 50-130km on a full charge. It also comes with three modes: Economy, Power, and Reverse mode. The battery powers a Brushless DC hub motor which generates 230Nm of torque and offers a claimed top speed of 45kmph. With a price tag of Rs. 65,000 the Spock isn’t very expensive, but the brand is not well-known.
