The 2025 Z900 gets a slightly revised styling while its feature set has gained ride-by-wire tech, cruise control and a bidirectional quickshifter.

With the update, the motorcycle gets a range of new styling cues while also gaining a set of new features

The new Candy Lime Green Type 3 colour joins the existing Metallic Spark Black shade that was available on the Kawasaki Z900 and is available at the same price of Rs. 8.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The 2021 Kawasaki Z900 BS6 finally arrives in showrooms and is about Rs. 29,000 more expensive than the BS4 version, while packing in new riding modes, electronic aids and no power drop over the BS4 model.

India Kawasaki Motor has introduced its first BS6 compliant offering with the launch of the 2020 Z900. The 2020 Kawasaki Z900 is priced between Rs. 8.50 lakh and Rs. 9 lakh (all-prices, ex-showroom) and is Euro5 compliant, according to the company. That's a steep increase in pricing compared to the BS4 model that retailed at Rs. 7.69 lakh. With the high price tag though, the 2020 Z900 now gets a host of electronics while retaining the same power and torque figures on the naked in-four cylinder motorcycle. The bike locks horns against the Triumph Street Triple S, Suzuki GSX-S750 and the KTM 790 Duke.

Following up the launch of the 2019 Versys 650, India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has introduced the 2019 Z900 street-fighter motorcycle. As it was with the 2019 Versys 650, the 2019 Kawasaki Z900 gets cosmetic changes largely restricted to the graphics for the new model year while retaining the same mechanicals. The price tag remains the same as well on the 2019 Z900 at Rs. 7.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The in-line four-cylinder motorcycle is now available in three colour options including metallic moondust grey/ebony, pearl flat stardust white/metallic spark black and metallic flat spark black/metallic spark black.

Kawasaki has issued a voluntary recall for the Z900 in India, because of a potential faulty tie-rod bracket for the rear suspension. A total of 132 bikes have been affected in India and Kawasaki will be inspecting and replacing the faulty part across all Kawasaki service centres in India.

The retro-styled modern classic based on the Kawasaki Z900 is likely to be launched in two variants at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show on October 25.

India Kawasaki Motor has launched the Z900 naked motorcycle in a brand new pure metallic spark black colour. The company will have less than 30 units for sale at present. It will gauge the customer response and then decide upon getting more units of the new colour.

The Kawasaki Z900 is powered by a 948 cc, in-line four cylinder engine making 123 bhp of maximum power. With the A2 licence compliant variant, power on the same engine can be restricted to 46 bhp for A2 licence limitations in Europe.

Kawasaki will be offering a Candy Red colour of the Z900 in Europe. We believe it to come to India sometime in 2018.
