With prices ranging from ₹12.65 lakh to ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom), the Carens continues to offer great value with multiple engine and gearbox options, including this clutchless semi-automatic transmission.
The iMT version is specifically aimed at customers who want the convenience of an automatic gearbox but with a more engaging driving experience similar to a manual. The introduction of iMT in the 1.5-liter diesel engine further expands the Carens lineup, offering smoother city commutes and improved fuel efficiency.

Tested on very difficult turns and elevations. It was smooth as butter with electronic stability control feature. You will notice that engine is initially set for lower rpm (600 only) so you have to put little more throttle. However this gives good mileage (>15) if you use 5th and 6th gear for most of the journey. There is ample space in third row make is truly comfortable 7 seater MPV. better than XUV 700 for third row. Cost is bit higher for top end models but if you use MMM coating it looks more like a luxury car !
