This is the first major update to the current generation C-Class and looks more mature and certainly classy like its older sibling, the S-Class. Competing against the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and the Jaguar XE, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class facelift gets the new diamond-studded grille with the three-pointed star in the centre, while there are new LED headlamps with DRLs and a revised front bumper.
As of now, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will only come in diesel variants powered by a new 1950 cc, four-cylinder oil burner that comes in two states of tune. In the C 220 d, the engine makes 192 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque, while in the top-spec C 300 d the engine makes 241 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. We were expecting the car to also get the all-new 1.5-litre petrol engine.
