2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV Revealed With 515 Km Range

GM’s Chevrolet has unveiled its electric rival to the Ford Mustang with the Blazer EV which will also get a dedicated Police Pursuit Vehicle and a Super Sport variant. This is not the first time we’re heard about the Blazer EV as GM’s CEO Mary Barra had teased it while unveiling the Silverado EV earlier in the year at CES. Like most of GM’s electric vehicles, this car will be based on its Ultium platform.
There will be basically four variants of the car which will have up to 515 km of range and will be priced between $44,995 and $65,995. The top-of-the-line variant of the car will have 557 bhp and will have a 0-100 km/h figure of fewer than 4 seconds.
Internally, this car will have 11.5 kW charging speeds with level 2 chargers and 190 kW with fast DC chargers. The car also gets full LED exterior lighting and also super cruise ADAS technology. There will be ADAS features like reverse automatic braking and advanced park assist.
The LT trim features a monochromatic appearance while the RS gets a black grille and other black accents. The super sport model gets a unique front grille, and two-tone colour scheme including a black roof. The Police Pursuit Vehicle for obvious reasons will also have its own unique
“Based on the Blazer SS model, the Blazer EV PPV will have the largest Ultium battery in the lineup and will be available in rear-wheel drive or with a dual motor all-wheel drive system. The PPV will use the Blazer SS high-performance front Brembo brakes to help ensure short stopping distances. The purpose-built Blazer EV PPV model features a police specific interior designed for police officers with ample room to accommodate emergency equipment and gear,” said Chevrolet.
On the inside, this car gets a 17.7-inch infotainment screen and an 11-inch diagonal driver information centre. It gets standard ambient lighting and unique trims on the RS and SS models with heated and ventilated front seats.
Deliveries for the car will start at the end of 2023 and Q1 2024.
