A Quick Road-Trip to Bordi

Bordi is a tourist spot located in the North of Mumbai in Palghar, in the state of Maharashtra. There are outdoor activities, such as camping, jeep safari etc. that are available in Bordi that makes the place very exciting. There is no best time in particular to visit Bordi. You can simply visit any time of the year because the place is perfect. The daytime is quite convenient for tourists to visit this marvelous place.
Aswali Dam:

Aswali dam is one of the most liked tourist spots in Bordi. It is located exactly 15 km from Bordi and attracts a lot of tourists. One must know before visiting the Aswali Dam that the way to the dam can be a little edgy and it is rocky because it is still unconstructed. You will need to walk a short distance from the parking area. Therefore you can travel there in your car. The picturesque exquisiteness of this place will leave you amazed. It is said that the monsoons make this place look more beautiful hence if you're travelling during monsoons, you're lucky.
Bahrot Caves:

Bahrot caves are also one of the most well-known places in Bordi. The place is locally known as Barad. The cave is 8 km away from Bordi and can be visited by you. Originally this place belonged to the tribal people of Bordi but later on, it belonged to the Buddhist monks. This cave is known to be the Zoroastrian or Parsi cave temple. The cave is known to be very religious and historical therefore people who love historical places must visit this cave. It is beautifully made and loved by many tourists.
Bordi Beach:

Now, who doesn't love beaches? Bordi beach is one of the most loved places in Bordi. The beach is located exactly in the Dahanu Taluka of Palghar District. This beach has vast Chikoo fruit orchids which are quite attractive and fascinating. The beach can get quite warm during the summers yet you won't feel too hot due to the cool breeze given out by the beach. There is even a huge temple which attracts a lot of tourists here. One must not miss the opportunity to visit this lovely place.
Dahanu Fort:

Dahanu Fort is exactly 2 km away from Dahanu beach. It is also located in Bordi and if you're taking a trip to Bordi, you must visit this fort if you like historical places. This place doesn't have much to offer except the historical fort which is quite mesmerizing. There are no such activities but you can roam around a bit here and enjoy yourself. You can avoid the place a little when it's too warm. Some say that there isn't much of the fort to see here but you can always take a tour here and arrange a small picnic for yourself and enjoy yourself.
